National Feed a Rescue Pet Week

Honey Bees Desperately Need Us

National Honey Bee Day is August 15th. It’s a time for us to be reminded how desperately we need bees and how, without our help, they face an uncertain future.

Watch the video below to see how we can make a difference for embattled bees. For a limited time, if you complete all the steps, The Rainforest Site will fund the equivalent of 21.7 square feet of protected habitat.

3 Celebrate National Honey Bee Day:

We owe so much to bees and other pollinators. Without them we have no food system. Yet our actions have had a terrible effect on bees, endangering their very existence. But together, we can fight for their survival.

While your completion of these three steps has helped to fund the equivalent of 21.7 square feet of protected habitat, please consider helping us cover the cost of reseeding pollinator habitat with native wildflowers.

With your help we will ship hundreds of pounds of native flowers, both annual and perennial seeds, to beekeepers and other organizations that are working to replant pollen sources in regions where bee populations are on the brink of being lost. A bonus to this is that our other favorite fluttering friends – birds, and butterflies – are also helped as flowers are planted. Learn more →

This May on World Bee Day we funded the restoration of 621,000 sq. feet of habitat, will you help us do more?

You will not receive a shipment from this purchase. We will facilitate the donation directly with qualifying organizations on your behalf.
