Help Save Endangered Hummingbirds

Hummingbirds dazzle us with sparkling colors, display flashes of brilliance and verve; and inspire artists, nature-lovers, and backyard birders alike.

Sadly, several species (28 to be exact) are endangered or critically endangered due in part to habitat loss.

Watch the video to see how we’re helping. For a limited time, if you complete all the steps, The Rainforest Site will fund the equivalent of 21.7 square feet of protected habitat.

We need your help to prevent hummingbirds from disappearing.

Over the years, with the help of people like you, American Bird Conservancy-supported reserves have provided habitat for more than half of all hummingbird species. But we have much more work to do!

Donate now and help thousands of bird species — hummingbirds, songbirds, and common backyard birds — as they navigate a world that is increasingly stacked against them.

Before it’s too late, we urgently need your help to save the rarest hummingbirds and other wild birds.

Your gift will make an immediate impact on bird conservation.

For a limited-time, join ABC with Discount Introductory Membership of $35 and you’ll receive a copy of our beautiful, hardcover photo book, Bringing Back the Birds. We will also plant a tree for birds in your name (or in honor of someone you care about) at international priority sites for bird conservation and will play a key role in the reforestation of habitat to help birds, including hummingbirds, in decline.

While your completion of these three steps has helped to fund the equivalent of 21.7 square feet of protected habitat, please consider donating to save endangered hummingbirds and other vulnerable species.
